Instinct Theory (Instinct Theory of Motivation)

Instinct Theory (Instinct Theory of Motivation) (Wilhelm Wundt, late 1800s) – the perspective that one’s motivations are rooted in one’s biological and/or genetic structures. Instinct Theory asserts that some motivations, such as the drive to survive, are universal.
